Dr Peter Westbrook
Peter Westbrook is a flutist, saxophonist, musicologist and educator. He holds a Ph.D. in musicology and has studied jazz theory and performance with Lionel Grigson, Gary Peacock, and Ali Ryerson and Indian classical flute with Pandit Hariprasad Chaurasia.
He performs and lectures extensively throughout the USA, Europe and India. He is the Editor in Chielf of Flute Journal, and is the author of numerous CD liner notes, with articles for such publications as Down Beat, Saxophone Journal, Cadence, Flutist Quarterly, and jazzreview.com, and books such as Divine Harmony: The Life and Teachings of Pythagoras and the forthcoming Music, Psyche, Cosmos.
Dr. Westbrook is the director of the Harmonia Institute and is based in the United Kingdom.
Enayet Hossain
Enayet was born into a musical family, his grandfather, the late great Ustad Kader Buksh was acknowledged as one of India’s foremost musicologist/musician. Enayet learned the tabla from his father, Ustad Hamid Hossain, a very well known Indian music teacher and musician based in the United States. Enayet was born in Bangladesh and raised in the United States and represents a new breed of musicians who received their musical training outside of India. Enayet is a versatile performer of tabla. He is at ease with accompaniment with North Indian classical music, instrumental music, light and semi classical music including thumri, ghazal, dadra etc… as well as giving solo performances. Enayet has over 50+ compact disc recordings available where he is featured.
Gary Benner
Gary is an electronics and software engineer, chartered IT Professional, and film maker with nearly 50 years in the industry. He comes from a musical and artistic family, with an appreciation for both, complemented by his technical background.
He has worked on IT systems used in provisioning for film and television in New Zealand, in particular LOR, Hercules & Xena, voice production and talent management.
He runs a boutique ISP hosting service, and also a startup film production company.
